Our team collaborated with the director of "Bye Bye Tiberias" to create a compelling promotional video for the 2024 documentary film directed by Lina Soualem. The documentary explores the life of Hiam Abbass, who leaves her Palestinian village to pursue her acting dreams, and later returns to her roots with her daughter to reflect on the impact of her choices on her family.
This emotionally charged narrative required a promotional video that could capture the essence of the film’s themes of self-discovery, family ties, and cultural heritage in just 27 seconds.

Our goal was to produce a short yet powerful promotional video that would resonate with audiences across social media platforms, particularly on Instagram and TikTok. The video aimed to highlight the emotional journey of the protagonist while emphasizing the film's broader cultural and personal significance.

Concept Development:

We worked closely with the film's creative team to understand the documentary's core message and emotional tone. This understanding allowed us to develop a concept that would encapsulate the film's essence in a brief but impactful visual narrative.

Video Production

The video was produced with a minimalist yet evocative style, using footage from the film combined with poignant text overlays. The opening scene shows a serene road in Deir Hanna, symbolizing the journey of self-discovery and the passage of time. The text overlay, "I had to leave to find myself, but my heart never left," captures the protagonist's internal conflict and sets the emotional tone for the video.

Editing & Post-Production:

Our editing focused on maintaining a smooth narrative flow, with transitions that highlight key emotional beats. The video was optimized for mobile viewing, ensuring high engagement rates on social media platforms.

Distribution Strategy:

The video was shared across multiple social media platforms, including Instagram and TikTok, where it garnered significant attention. The post received 90K views, 7.2K likes, and 1.6K saves, demonstrating its effectiveness in engaging the target audience.
