We developed and executed a strategic Influencer-Led Podcast Series for OneShot.ai, a B2B SaaS startup focused on revolutionizing sales processes through AI. The goal was to build brand credibility and expand reach within the sales and tech communities by leveraging the influence of respected figures in the industry. The Strategy

Step 1: Start Small, Think Big

We began by collaborating with LinkedIn nano-influencers—individuals with a smaller but highly engaged following. The first guest had approximately 2,000 followers. Our approach was to provide exceptional value to these influencers, offering them high-quality content and professional production at no cost. This strategy allowed us to build a portfolio of engaging content while establishing trust and relationships within the influencer community.

Step 2: Create Multi-Channel Content

Each podcast episode was transformed into a range of content types to maximize reach and engagement across different platforms. We produced long-form video/audio podcasts for YouTube and popular podcast platforms such as Spotify and Apple Podcasts. We also created short-form video reels for Instagram and TikTok, SEO-optimized blog posts with backlinks for LinkedIn, and visually engaging carousel posts highlighting key insights from the episodes.

Step 3: Scale Up with Bigger Names

After successfully executing six episodes and building a solid content portfolio, we used our initial success to attract more prominent industry figures. This effort culminated in securing John Barrows, a sales training expert with 400,000 LinkedIn followers, as a guest—completely free of charge. The series continued to grow, featuring other influential names such as Scott Leese, Amy Volas, and plans for Josh Braun in late July.

Execution Highlights

We managed every aspect of content production, from scripting and recording to post-production and distribution. The result was a polished, professional podcast series that reflected OneShot.ai’s brand values and expertise.

Cross-Platform Distribution:

The podcasts were promoted across multiple channels, ensuring maximum reach. Long-form videos were uploaded to YouTube, while audio versions were made available on major podcast platforms. Additionally, we shared shorter clips on LinkedIn, Instagram, and TikTok to drive engagement.

The strategy was designed to build a community around the content. By targeting different segments with tailored content types (e.g., short reels for quick insights, blogs for in-depth discussions), we engaged a broad audience and encouraged interaction and sharing.
